Duration: 3 years
Study form: full-time
Conclusion: final exam and obtaining certificate of apprenticeship
Fulfilment of graduates: horticultural technician, worker in commercial service, bunch (wreath) maker, arranger, businessman in horticultural services or in designing and maintenance of greenery, worker in nature-protecting and landscaping departments, administrative officer in the civil service (environment and ecological sections), vocational training chief in horticultural and agricultural institutions.
Entrance exams: entrance oral; number of enrolled students: 30; terms of the entrance exams – see News.

   Study:

1^st year - ski course; those interested can attend a training course of using brush saw in favourable conditions; vocational excursions, lectures and tutorials within the span of school study.
General knowledge subjects: Czech and literature, foreign languages (German, English), maths, physical education for the whole study, civics
Vocational subjects: basics of horticulture, machines and appliances, chemistry, biology, orchard management, vegetable- growing, floriculture, pomology, economics; from the 2^nd year: facultative vocational subjects.
Externship: usually take place in the school area and in the park, or in selected contractual companies and greenhouses. Our school is equipped with mechanization: rotary cultivators, tractors, hand and motor mowers, brush saws, leaf-hoovers, disposal plants…
Necessary items: work-clothes, donkey-jacket, solid footwear, rubber boots, raincoat, headgear Tools: grafter, billhook, handsaw, whetstone, secateurs
Working hours: The 1^st form 6 lessons, the 2^nd and the 3^rd form 7 lessons, beginning in 7:00 a.m.
