  Czech, Slovak and French students from 7 secondary schools and apprentice training centres took part in this years competition "Flower of Kopidlno".

It's possible to visit our school at any time by prior arrangement.

Our school can show off the palm greenhouse which has been restored on the whole. It was opened on 10th October 2003 again when the jubilee 10th-year fair trade "Flower of Kopidlno" went ahead. The greenhouse was built in 1893 after Schönbrun palm greenhouse model and it’s the most notable building of the castle park. Rising damp and unprofessional encroachments greatly affected the greenhouse but the reconstruction restored it to nearly original shape. The conditions for planting tropical and subtropical plants are better now as well as the heating and ventilating systems. The vicinity is graced with a new plantation and behind the greenhouse there is a beautifully blooming rock-garden.

Under the project "Internet for schools" (Indoš) a new computer classroom with seven computers was established and cabled to the Internet in 2002. The original computer classroom was relocated to a neighbouring room. Computers are used not only during the computing technology lessons but also during other lessons (gardens management, foreign languages, drawing and modelling) and for looking up information.
Students are also allowed to use computers out of lessons for making essays, clas projects, school - leaving examination work, etc. They have a scanner and digital camera, at their disposal, too.
