Actions organized by our school

Soběslavská růže (The rose of Soběslav) – competition in flower binding and arrangement for individuals or three-member teams from practical schools and vocational apprentice schools.

Děčínská kotva (The anchor of Děčín) – Czech floristic championship; competition for individuals and teams.

Iuvensis hortulanus – international competition in horticultural skills (binding,grafting, recognizing of plant material) for students from secondary schools and vocational apprentice schools. It takes place in Piešťany (Slovak republic).

School employees and students usually prepare expositions for these exhibitions:
Zemědělec (Farmer) – Lysá nad Labem
Praga florea – international horticultural exhibition and expo in Prague
Flora Olomouc – international horticultural exhibition and expo in Olomouc; Involvement in the competition for the best designed exposition
Dům a zahrada – Hradec Králové
ADVENT EXHIBITIONS in Jičín (Valdice Gate and the District library), Mladá Boleslav and Nová Paka

Czech Olympiad – for students of secondary horticultural school-3rd and 4th years

Athletic Cup "Corny" in Jičín – for secondary schools (girls)
Basketball District round – for secondary schools (boys); in Jičín
Indoor soccer District round – for secondary schools (boys); Lázně Bělohrad

Our school takes part in school bourses which are organized by job centres in component regions (Náchod, Hradec Králové, Nymburk, Liberec, Kolín, Mladá Boleslav, Mnichovo Hradiště, Jičín, Semily)
